Bring clear inspiration photos; they let your stylist map lines to your head shape and fringe so the final look reads as intended while keeping your fringe maintained.
Execution is deliberate: the stylist transfers the photo reference into scaled line work, then uses clippers or a razor to remove precise sections where needed. Expect adaptations if hair texture or thickness requires simplification. Our team’s relaxed, patient approach helps clients — including those with thick or wavy hair — leave confident and comfortable with a manageable, wearable design.
Choosing your pattern and limits
Complex, geometric, or subtle line work can be translated into a Cool Designs pattern, but detail is limited by hair length, growth direction, and scalp contours. Very fine details may need to be simplified so lines stay crisp as hair grows out. Bringing multiple reference images and noting which parts matter most helps your stylist prioritize what to reproduce exactly.
If you have dense, virgin, or highly textured hair, the design may read differently than in a flat photo; stylists at The Untamed Society will discuss practical adjustments during consultation. Maintaining your design and fringe
